ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco - Tastayuc – Tastayuc lagoon

We depart from Cusco in the morning at 06:00 and drive 2 ½ hours to the community of Tastayuc (3,400 m / 12,522 ft) located on the route to Quillabamba. This is the starting point of our trek and is the place where we meet the porters who will join us on our hike.

It will take us about 2 hours (approx.) to hike up to the lagoon of Huaqratanca, then 2 hrs hike to reach the mountain pass of Yanaorcco. From view point, we can appreciate the snowcapped peaks of la Veronica and Chicon in the distance. We will hike 1 hrs. for the lunch place for the afternoon We go downhill for about 3 hours to the small community of Choquecancha. This is where we will camp for the evening.

Day 2: Choquecancha – Pumamarca ruins - Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

From Choquecancha, our trail will descend 3 hrs. to the Inca ruins of Pumamarca. Here we will explore the area and the rock remains then continue for 2 more hours to see more Inca ruins (Muscapuquio, Media luna and Muyumarca). From here, we continue our adventure and make our way to Ollantaytambo (2,792 m/9,158 ft), where we will have lunch and spend the afternoon visiting this well preserved Inca town.After the dinner we will go by train to Machupicchu town, We spend the night here.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

After breakfast in the hotel, we will travel ½ hour by bus to Machu Picchu for a 2 ½ hour walking tour of the site, visiting the temples, palaces and many other interesting places. You will have time to explore the Inca Bridge at the Sun gate of Machu Picchu, that overlooks the ruins. We will return to Aguas Calientes at about 16:20 to take the train back to Cusco.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa

The first day of our trek! Pick up  from your hotel early morning  at 05:30  and go by bus 3 hrs. to Mollepata  town and  stop 30 minutes for the breakfast  the We continue 30minutes  to Challacancha  the starting point of this  trek  The views throughout the day are fantastic, all around us are verdant green mountains, along the path are a wide variety of native plants and flowers with birds flitting in and out and towards the end of the day we'll see the snow-capped peaks of Humantay and Salkantay (the Savage) looming high above us. The hike is 3 hrs. to our campsite for tonight  Soraypampa (4000m / 12750ft.) after  the lunch We go 2 ½ hrs. to visit the Humantay lake. (L,D)

Day 2: Soraypampa – Salkantay Pass –Chaullay

Long day for the trek  after the breakfast the hike is 3 hrs. to the  Salkantay mountain pass (4,650m/15,367ft). you will have an amazing  view  of  the glaciers and lakes, then  continuing down to Wayraqmachay  for lunch and toward our finish line for the day we trek for 3 more hours to the small village of  Chaullay special worm place to spend the night. Day 3: Colpapampa – Lucmabamaba – Hot springs

Easy trek for  today! 3 hours walking through the beginning of the lush tropical rainforest, enjoying the fruit bearing trees, coffee trees, cacao trees undulating fruit plantations, flowering orchids and plenty of birds to be seen. We arrive top the village of Sahuayacu called  La Playa for lunch with free time to rest.

After lunch we will take the local transport for  30mins to Santa Teresa where is  the camp site  and  for the afternoon  We go  to the  natural hot springs of Cocalmayo special natural place. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Lucmabamba – LLactapata – Aguas Calientes.

After the breakfast we will continue along the ancient and remote Inca Trail for 3 hours uphill to the Lucmabamba  pass 2700mt. Along the way you will need to pinch yourself at fantastic views and authenticity of these unique valleys and fruit plantations. We arrive to Llactapata Inca Ruins; located right in front of Machu Picchu enjoy the strategic location of the citadel of the Grand Machu Picchu from far away and it´s surrounding mountains  Huayna Picchu, Machupicchu and the Aobamba Canyon. Day 5: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

After the breakfast in the hotel, we go ½ hr. by bus to Machu Picchu, for a guided tour in the site (2hrs. approximately) and then you will have time to climb the mountain of Hayna Picchu that overlooks the ruins. Return to Aguas Calientes at about 2pm to take the train back to Cusco. (B)

ITINERARY

DAY 1: CUSCO  SANTA MARIA SANTA TERESA

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco morning at 05: 30 and  go 4 hrs.  in a private transportation  to the village of Santa Maria. (1800 masl.) then 15 minutes  to Quellomayo the starting point for this trek, the views throughout the day are fantastic, all around us are green vegetation  along the path with a  wide variety of native plants and flowers with birds  after  3 hrs. of hiking  We arrive to  Cocalmayo  hot springs where we have the lunch and then to Santa Teresa (1700 m.) We spend the night in a hostel. (L,D)

DAY 2: SANTA TERESA - LLACTAPATA - MACHUPICCHU.-

After the breakfast we go hiking along the ancient and remote Inca Trail for 3 hours uphill to the Puncuyoc pass 2700mt. along the way you will have the fantastic views of these unique valleys and fruit plantations. We arrive to Llactapata Inca Ruins in 3 hrs. Located right in front of the mountain  where is located the  ruins of Machupicchu, amazing view  of  the strategic location other interesting places to appreciate  are:  Huaynapicchu mountain, Machupicchu  ruins and the Aobamba Canyon. We descend for 2 hours to the Hydroelectric plant where we will have lunch. Then it´s the last leg of the journey walking to Aguas Calientes where We spend the night in a hotel. (B,L,D)

DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO.-

After the breakfast in the hotel, we go by bus to Machu Picchu, for a guided tour in the site (2hrs. approximately) and then you will have time to climb the mountain of Hayna Picchu that overlooks the ruins. Return to Aguas Calientes at about 2pm to take the train back to Cusco. (B)

TREK ANCASCOCHA MACHUPICCHU 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

DAY 01: CUSCO – LIMATAMBO  - YAHUARMAKI 

We will pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 05:00 and drive 2 hrs. to Limatambo village then We continue 45 minutes to the starting point of this trek. First we make a tough 3 hour climb to the first mountain pass (4632masl), the highest point of our trek We have an amazing view of  the snow caped peaks: Salkantay, Humantay  Huayanay,then continue to lunch place. After the lunch We will start walking 2 hrs. towards the pass Chusqenay (4630m) then 2 more hors to the camp site in Yahuarmaky
 
DAY 02: YAHUARMAKY – ANCASCOCHA
After breakfast we will start the trek of 3 hrs.  with incredible views of the Andean mountains We will cross a mountain pass  called and Millpo (4399m)then We go down to the lunch place. We hike uphill for 2 hours to a small archaeological site called Inka Raqay. After that we will ascent to the pass of Huayanay (4630m)then We go down to Our campsite is at Ancascocha.
 
DAY 03: ANCASCOCHA - CHILCA
After breakfast we will walk down hill in order to arrive to Chillca. From Ancascocha there is 2 hours of descent to Arequipapampa. We will pass small villages. The descent becomes easier towards Camicancha (2930m), where our car may pick us up, or we will continue to descend to Chillca. We will take the train around 4:00pm to Aguas Calientes, where we will have celebratory dinner and spend the night in a hotel.
 
DAY 04: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
After the breakfast in your hotel  We go by bus to Machu Picchu, arriving around 6:30 am. you will visit and explore the Machupicchu ruins with the tour guide for t3 hrs.  we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes where You will board a train in the afternoon that will take you back to Cusco, where you will arrive to in the evening

Soon after the pass you will start your descent 2hrs. toward the Leon Punku ravine, where you will find remains of an Inca bridge and trail. This canyon goes direct  to Huchuy Qosqo at 3650 m. TREK ANCASCOCHA MACHUPICCHU 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

Thousands of people come to Peru each year to hike the classic Inca Trail. Given the restricted number of daily permits, the Inca Trail is in high demand, often booking up 5-6 months in advance during high season. This hike is a great option to the classic Inca Trail as its dominated by glaciers and a glut of peaks above 5000m. If you love adventure and the mountainous landscape, then this option is for you!

ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco – Soqma – Chancachuco

We depart from Cusco in the morning (06:00) and drive 2 ½ hours to Soqma (3,205 m / 10,512 ft) located next to the Sacred Valley. This is the starting point of our adventure and is the place where we meet the horsemen that will join us for our hike.

We will travel for approx. 1 hour to the Perolniyoc waterfall lookout, which is a spectacular place to take pictures and enjoy of the landscape. We will continue on that path to the Inca ruins of Perolniyoq and explore the area; then proceed to Rayan, a small Andean community, where we have a bite to eat. Our journey will continue for three more hours when we arrive at the Kuychi Qas´ssa mountain Pass (4,400mtasl 14,100 ft). From here it is possible to see the Sacred Valley and all the snowcapped mountains in the distance. We follow the trail for another hour to our camp site at Chancachuco.

Day 2: Chancachuco – Ancascocha - Muyumuyu

After enjoying a filling breakfast, we will depart at 07: 00 for a 4 hour trek uphill that will be well worth the hike, as we will enjoy incredible views of the jagged mountain peaks, glaciers, lagoons, llamas and Andean falcons. You will be able to see some amazing views of the Chancachuco Valley on one side of the pass and the Sacred Valley of the Incas on the other. We will travel downhill for 2 hours to reach the Chancachuco valley, and here we will enjoy a much deserved lunch break.

After we enjoy some food, our trail will ascend and follow an ancient path that is considered to be a special one as the harmony of nature blends perfectly with the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Our path drops from here to the small community of Ancascocha (3,700 m/12,136 ft) and we will set up camp here for the evening.

Day 3: Muyu Muyu community - Paucar Cancha

This will be another long but enjoyable day as we trek by glaciers, old Inca sites and along the original Inca Trail. During our hike to Muyu Muyu, the trail turns narrow and we will have beautiful views of ancient Andean community’s. The Suyt´tu Rumiyoq and Qéska tribes have lived in this area for centuries. The trail will eventually bring us to our camp site in the Paucar Cancha archeological area (3,000 m/10.000 ft).

Day 4: Paucar Cancha – Pisqa Cuchu– Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
From Paucar Cancha we will descend to the community of Huayllabamba, which is the first camp site for the classic Inca Trail, then we continue another 1 ½ hours to the unique Inca site of Llaqtapata and take part in a guided tour. Following the tour, we will head back out onto the trail until we reach Km 82, which is the start of the classic Inca Trail. We stop for lunch in the Pisqacuchu Community and then continue by bus to Ollantaytambo (2,792 m/9,158 ft) where we will catch the train to Aguas Calientes and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

After breakfast in the hotel, we will travel ½ hour by bus to Machu Picchu for a 2 ½ hour walking tour of the site, visiting the temples, palaces and many other interesting places.
