ITINERARY

Day 01: Cusco – Tomacaya Valley - Tincopampa

We will pick up from your hotel at 5:30 am 2 hrs. drive to Limatambo town then we continue our drive for another 1/2 hrs. until we reach Tomacaya community here, we will meet our horseman (and horses!) and all the rest of our crew who will accompany us on this adventure. After making final preparations, we being our hike for 3 hours uphill to the ichupampa where we have the lunch. After lunch, we hike an uphill path for 2 hrs then we walk 2 more hrs. to Tincopampa the camp site (4,420m/13,424 ft.)
Day 02: Tincopampa – Ancascocha

After breakfast We begin the hike gentle descent for an hour to Millpo (4390 m/14,402 ft.) then 2 hrs descent to the pass of Rumi Inca. We continue upwards for an hour to the valley of Yahuarmaky.
Climbing again for about two hours until we reach the pass of Aqocasa (4,689 m/15,383 ft.), this is yet another spectacular place to enjoy the vistas across the magnificent Andes, we descend for 3 hours to a small Inca ruin named Inca Racay. We will stop here for our lunch and your guide will tell stories of the ancient ruins.
After lunch we climb for an hour to the Huayanay pass (4,650m/15,255 ft.), and then take a steady 3 hour downhill path to the small village of Ancascocha and our camp for the night (3,700m/12,139 ft.)

Day 03: Ancascocha – Silque Valley – Camicancha – Ollantaytambo- Aguas Calientes
Today we take a 6 hour hike downhill through the canyon to the small village of Chilca. On our way we will pass several small villages and no doubt see the villagers going about their simple lives. We will also see beautiful orchids and many of the wild plants that the locals use for medicinal purposes, W arrive to Camicancha for our last lunch then We take a van to Ollantaytambothen. We spend the night in a hostal.
Day 4: Ollantaytambo - KM.104 – Machu Picchu
We will pick up you from your hotel at 07:00 and will walk 15 minutes to the train station so we may transfer to Km 104, where we begin our hike. We will explore the archeological site of Chachabamba and continue 3 hours towards another site, named Wiñaywayna. Here, we will enjoy a lovely picnic lunch and take in the spectacular surroundings. In the afternoon, we continue through a cloud forest towards the famous Sun gate from where we have our first panoramic view of the marvelous Machu Picchu at the sunset. A short descent brings us to our destination, where we drive down to the village Aguas Calientes to spend the night.
Day 5: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast in the hotel, we go ½ hour by bus to Machu Picchu for a 3 hours walking tour of the site, visiting the temples, palaces and many other interesting places. You will have time to explore the Inca bridge at the Sun gate of Machu Picchu, that overlooks the ruins. We will return to Aguas Calientes at about 16:20 to take the train back to Cusco.

This route is less-frequented by hikers and gets you away from the crowds. This 2 days trek up to the startling glacial lakes of Halancoma and Tastyuc, with a beautiful stroll along a glacier. Llama shepherds help with the toughest stages of this challenging, often barren hike; mostly in the 4000m-4200m contours. You will finish by descending to some old Inca ruins then continue to the Inca town of Ollantaytambo and the 3th day transfer by train to short Inca trail Machu Picchu.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco - Tastayuc – Tastayuc lagoon

We depart from Cusco in the morning at 06:00 and drive 2 ½ hours to the community of Tastayuc (3,400 m / 12,522 ft) located on the route to Quillabamba. This is the starting point of our trek and is the place where we meet the porters who will join us on our hike.

It will take us about 2 hours (approx.) to hike up to the lagoon of Huaqratanca, then 2 hrs hike to reach the mountain pass of Yanaorcco. From view point, we can appreciate the snowcapped peaks of la Veronica and Chicon in the distance. We will hike 1 hrs. for the lunch place for the afternoon We go downhill for about 3 hours to the small community of Choquecancha. This is where we will camp for the evening.

Day 2: Choquecancha – Pumamarca ruins - Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

From Choquecancha, our trail will descend 3 hrs. to the Inca ruins of Pumamarca. Here we will explore the area and the rock remains then continue for 2 more hours to see more Inca ruins (Muscapuquio, Media luna and Muyumarca). From here, we continue our adventure and make our way to Ollantaytambo (2,792 m/9,158 ft), where we will have lunch and spend the afternoon visiting this well preserved Inca town. We spend the night here.

Day 3: Ollantaytambo - KM.104 – Machu Picchu

We will pick up you from your hotel at 07:00 and will walk 15 minutes to the train station so we may transfer to Km 104, where we begin our hike. ITINERARY

DAY 1: CUSCO – CUSIPATA - CHILLIHUANI – Rainbow Mountains - CUSCO 

We pick up you from your hotel around 05.30 am and start making your way to the Cusipata district (2 hour journey). Then we will continue 2 hr. to Chillihuani. From here we start our hike. We will be able to enjoy the view of numerous mountains around as well as of the Ausangate glacier, andean camels in their natural environment. The trek lasts for about 3 hours until we get to the stunning landscape of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountains). Here we will have about one hour to relax and take amazing pictures of this natural wonder, if you want you can visit the Red Valley. We then hike back to the starting point of the trek, and from there return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 17.00

DAY 2: CUSCO - OLLANTAYTAMBO - KM.104 MACHUPICCHU

Early in the morning at 05:30 We will pick up you from your hotel and go by bus 1/12 hrs. to train station in Ollantaytambo, by train 1/12 hrs. to Km 104 where we begin our hike. From the archeological site of Chachabamba (2250 masl) after the visit of the ruins We climb up for about 3 hours towards the fascinating archeological site of Wiñaywayna (2650 masl) where we will enjoy a pick nick in a unique surrounding. In the afternoon we continue through cloud forest towards the famous Sun gate from where we have our first panoramic view onto marvelous Machupicchu at the sunset, a short descent brings us to our final destination from where we drive down to the village Aguas Calientes, overnight in a hotel. DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO

After the breakfast in the hotel We go by bus 1/2 hrs. to visit the Inka ruins of Machupicchu called the Lost City of the Incas, it is a stone city constructed by incredibly sophisticated techniques, with exquisite detail worthy of the world's greatest palaces. After a guided visit to the ruins 2 hrs. you will be free to explore the temples and palaces of this place, in the afternoon at 13:00 you go by bus to Aguas Calientes, your train is departing at 18.35 to Ollantaytambo then go back to Cusco by bus. ITINERARY-

DAY 01: Cusco-KM 82-Huayllabamba The first day We pick up from your hotel to you in the morning at 6:00 and transfer to kilometer 82 Inca trail check point: you must show your passport Original here. The first part of the Inca trail is considered gentle training section, for about two hours, from the trail there is seen the ruins of Llactapata, 20 minutes later is the lunch place, the hike continues ascending to lightly semi-tropical valley for two hours until the first camp site of Huayllabamba.(3000masl) (L,D)

DAY 02: Huayllabamba-Pacaymayu. After the breakfast, the Inca trail leads to the highest point, passing through different climatic and ecological zones as we ascend the Warmiwañuusca mountain pass at 4200 masl, the hike will undertake ascent up to the high pass, the first section presents abundant vegetation with trees of wild origin, after this section of the Inca trail, it tends to be less forests up to the high point, is typical of the andean covered with mountains icchu straw or perpetual snow and mountains with. After approximately 5 hours walk arduous you summit it. Time to have some rest, take photos and start to walk down hill. From there We go down 1 hr. to camp site at the Pacaymayu valley at 3600 masl. DAY 03: Pacaymayu-Wiñayhuayna. The trail climbs up towards the second pass about halfway up there is a small round roofless stone building, this Inca archaeological remains is known as Runcuracay the building is thought to have been to check point after the trail climbing towards the second pass of Runcuracay, which is at around 3900m. as we reach the second pass, the landscape opens onto spectacular new views to the snow capek peaks of the Pumasillo mountain range. We descend ½ hr. to the ruins of Sayacmarca, complex with group of houses, plazas and water channels, perched precariously on a rocky spur overlooking the valley Aobamba. After the lunch We continue to the archaeological complex of Phuyupatamarca (Cloud-level Town). Pausing to explore the wondrous maze of Inca stone towers, fountains and stairways That spillins down the mountainside here, we begin a long descent through ever-changing layers of cloud forest. An Inca stairway partly cut from living granite leads us finally to our camp by the ruins of Wiñaywayna (forever young) the last camp site at 2500 masl (B,L,D)

DAY 04: Wiñayhuayna-Machu Picchu-Cusco We start the hike early morning at 5:00 for the end section of the magic Inca trail, from Wiñayhuayna to Intipunku is an easy hike of 2 hrs. following a broad level path, which winds through scrub and comfortably light woodland. After no more than an hour, We arrive to Intipunku, the Gateway of the Sun, and through the rectangular doorway you can see the Machupicchu, from the Sun gate a pathway leads directly to Machu Picchu itself, before arriving to Machu Picchu there is needed to hike for About 1 hour by steeply down hill and before tour in Machu Picchu is needed to check out the Inca trail and after make the tour. The tour takes two hours and usually after free. For the afternoon take the train at 18:20 and arrive at 20:10 to Ollantaytambo and from this place we go to Cusco by bus for 1 1/2 hrs. (L)

ITINERARY

Day 1. Cusco – Mollepata – Challacancha - Soraypampa

Early morning pick up  you from your hotel  and  go  4 hrs. by bus to   Mollepata town and stop for  the breakfast, then We continue to 40 minutes to   the starting point of  the trek Challacancha beginning the hike you'll have magnificent views of Nevado Humantay (5917m). After about 3 hours trekking we'll arrive at the small settlement of Soray where the valley broadens and flattens and Nevado Salkantay comes into view, We have the lunch here  and for the afternoon We visit the high Andean lagoon  of Humantay. Day 2. Soraypampa – Pampacahuana.

Today you`ll be on a trail that ascends, very gradually to Inca Chiriaska pass (where the Inca cools down), which is the highest point of the trip (4,950mt-16,200ft).  3 1/2 hours of gentle hike aprox. At the pass there are some absolutely mind-blowing views of the cordillera Vilcabamba and Urubamba, we will have impressive views of the Salkantay snow peak, we will descend to lunch place in Yanaqaqa and for the afternoon we continue  towards the Pampacahuana community, next to to which exist an original Inca Canal. We will camp and have dinner at this place. (B,L,D)

Day 3. Pampacahuana – Wayllabamba.
From Pampachuana, We hike 3 hours hike down the narrow, steep valley to the Inca fortress of Paucarcancha, visit and  explore this complex, then it's about another 1/2 hours walk down to the small village of Wayllabamba where you join the Royal Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We camp the night at Wayllabamba (3,000masl) (B,L,D)

Day 4. Wayllabmba - Pacaymayu

Long day for the trek, we will get after 1 hours of hike the ruins  of Runkuraqay, 1 mor hr.  We arrive to  the next mountain pass and other inca ruins Sayaqmarca and one of the most amazing spots such Phuyupatamarca, a stunning Inca site located at the top of a mountain then we walk down hill to Wiñaywayna, 2 hours aprox.
At Wiñaywayna we’ll set up camp and have dinner. There’s also a place to take a hot shower. (B,L,D)

Day 6. Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco. (6 km)
Wake up at 0430, breakfast at  05:00 and back on the trek to Machu Picchu early to arrive at Inti Punku (the sun gate) just prior to sunrise at approx.2 hrs. With beautiful views of Machu Picchu
We'll arrive at Machu Picchu ruins (2400m) at 0730 and have a guided tour of the Ruins for about 2 1/2 hours followed by some free time.
In the early afternoon we'll return to Aguas Calientes by tourist bus for a meal in one of the many restaurants, return by train back to Cusco. End of trek. (B)
